I hadn't stumbled upon this site until recently, but it has hundreds of works by the Spanish master online in extremely good reproduction.
Above is a remarkably good scan of an interesting painting (the texture of the canvas is plainly visible), but the zoom feature (the "magnifying glass" icon) has some familiar drawbacks:
- You can't see the entire painting at once, except at quite low resolution.
- The navigation tool obscures part of the painting at the top left and can't be moved.
- Flash is required.
- The zoom feature only appears to work with Internet Explorer. For some reason it will not load properly with Netscape, Mozilla or Opera.
