This painting by Meese, a neo-expressionist painter often compared with Jean Michel Basquiat, is a new acquisition for the Elgiz Museum in Turkey.
It's currently on display at the museum along with Jan Fabre's Mur de la Monté des Anges, "a visually stunning sculptural representation of a woman's dress, created entirely from different species of beetles." The latter can be seen on the museum's website under "New Acquisitions". Fabre's works are primarily involved with organic materials, especially insects.
