This is the cover for the book Zathura, Chris van Allsburg's sequel to Jumanji. You're probably already aware that a movie based on this book will be opening this week; hopefully it will be as good as the movie of Jumanji, which was lots of fun.
Chris van Allsburg is a superb illustrator and a Caldecott Medal winner; one of my favorite children's book authors working today. There's more about him and the modern classics he has authored on our Chris van Allsburg page.
