The scan itself isn't nearly large enough, especially since the horse only takes up about half of the image. Unfortunately the British Museum limits image size on all its works to 600x600, which makes the site nice and accessible for people with small screens, but is a bit disappointing for the rest of us. Monitors are getting larger, and as of this writing about 2/3 of web users are now running at screen resolutions of 1024x768 or higher [ref. Browser News].
However there are some mitigating factors that make this scan worth noting: the sculpture is exquisitely photographed, and the image makes an excellent desktop wallpaper despite its small size, if you set the default background color to black.
Note: For the purposes of the TrueSize screen, the scan should be enlarged to match the dimensions of the photographed area, rather than those of the sculpture itself. It's hard to be sure because the horse was photographed at an angle, but my best guess is that the photographed area is approximately 10.5 inches square.
