Here God is borne aloft by cherubim as well as an angel, an ox, an eagle and a lion - the symbols of Saints Matthew, Luke, John and Mark, respectively.
An amusing touch is that Ezekiel himself is barely visible at the extreme lower left of the painting, completely dwarfed by the scale of his vision.
