Americans may be divided, but this Canadian would rank Andrew Wyeth as one of the United States' most accomplished painters. BTW, N.C. Wyeth is also a semi-legend for his numerous virile book illustrations. As for Jamie Wyeth, the most damning thing I can say about him is that he has yet to fully distinguish himself from his forebears, and at age 64 time is running out for him to do so.
