• Relationships: Studied under Léon Cogniet, Eugène Delacroix and Madrazo y Kuntz.
Bonnat's many students included Edwin Blashfield, James Harwood, Siddons Mowbray, Charles Sprague Pearce, Frederic Vinton, Harry Watrous, Irving R. Wiles, Franklin Brownell, Edwin Lord Weeks and Thomas Eakins.
