The Passion of Christ
Last year, Joseph Phelan provided an overview of the events of Christ's Passion and how they have been represented in great art.
This was one of my favorites of the articles we've run, especially since there are a lot of gaps in my understanding of the Bible (and therefore in my understanding of what exactly is going on in many great works of art). So, as Easter approaches again, we've decided to feature the article once more, in a slightly updated version with all the links re-checked.
