The Museum of Fine Arts has recently put a huge database of 316,000 works online that we're in the process of indexing. Their search capabilities are still a bit buggy, so we're doing the best we can. Some of the works in the database are not illustrated, some are viewable in black and white only, and some (somewhere in the tens of thousands) are in full color. The color photographs are generally quite good, so let's hope they add more and more color reproductions as time goes by.
